NATALIE JAMES

I am native of the DC Metropolitan area. I grew up In Northern Virginia, but have spent my adult life as a resident, just thirty miles across the Potomac River, in Montgomery County Maryland.
For the past 22 years, I have been in the mortgage business. I have worn every hat there is to try on in the business. In 2008, when the housing market began to fail, many of my clients found themselves in horrific situations. No matter how hard I tried, there was no way to convince the banks to work in a spirit of mutual cooperation to salvage the homes of so many families.

I decided I wanted to do something more meaningful, but mortgage had always been my career path. I threw all caution to the wind and opened my own company, which aids homeowners who are need of assistance and an expert in the industry. It’s been my mission for the last 10 years to keep families in their homes, affordably. I found out quickly that helping others was exactly what I desire spending my time doing.

I am very active with the elderly in my community. I volunteer with autistic children and adopt those less fortunate on as many holidays as possible. I also started collecting food each evening from local restaurants, which would otherwise be thrown away. I donate this food to our county shelters and sometimes deliver to families in need. It just feels good to serve others!

Through FaceBook I was introduced to my Platinum Director, Brian Carruthers, by a mutual friend. Our initial acquaintance was for the purpose of working together in community outreach. However, I was quickly intrigued by Brian’s energy, testament to mentoring, and his enormous amount of followers on social media. I reached out to him, I just had to know what exactly he “was into”.
Brian obliged by offering a video. After viewing, I instantly knew this was not just a pathway to build financial security for me and my family, but was also a way for me to further serve others. For me, that is a NO BRAINER!! Helping others and being compensated to do so, what could be better?

I joined LegalShield on my birthday, July 5, 2017. I could not have chosen anything better to gift myself or to celebrate another year! I am beyond sincere when I proclaim this business has been life changing for me. I pushed myself hard and always remain coachable, which allowed me to advance to Executive Director in 72 days. This is truly exciting stuff! It’s not the added income that captures me the most though, it is so much more. I am surrounded by driven people of outstanding character who only want to help me achieve the best version of myself. I am given an abundance of tools and knowledge to lead me to financial security and continue to improve in all facets of my life. I am encouraged to push myself to a place of sometimes being a little uncomfortable, but that is teaching me to duplicate the behaviors of the most successful people. Because of LegalShield, my life is already rich. I am humbled. I am excited. I am anxious for all my future holds. I am just getting started!
