I was 27 years old and rolling in my real estate career, making money and on top of my game. I thought I had life’s answers and was successful. Then I was introduced to the concepts of residual and leveraged income. Real estate agents have neither. As a broker, you hope to have one (leverage), but you get no residuals if you stop selling. As an employee working for someone else, you are being leveraged with neither.

What would be possible for you if you weren’t required to ask yourself OR? A successful career OR time with your family? Fulfilling your potential OR fulfilling those around you? Being present for yourself OR present for others? The Gardners grappled with those same questions in 1998 when they made the decision to join PPLSI and pursue a career that would enable them to have all of those things. Fulfillment and Family. Money and Time. Elizabeth is an interior designer, an author of three books, an award winning marketing strategist, a grandmother, a $600,000 ring earner and, as the Executive Chairwoman for Ladies of Justice, she has made it her personal mission to provide all people that same opportunity.

As a special education teacher, Theresa loved teaching. But even with her master’s degree, the income left a lot to be desired, especially when she incurred day care costs in order to continue working after their daughter was born.  With Frank’s background in traditional business (he is self-taught, with no formal education past the sixth grade), Theresa decided after eight years of teaching that it was time to stay home to raise the kids while getting involved with Frank in his business ventures.

It is an honor to call myself a full-time, professional LegalShield associate. But like most, I wasn’t full time at first — and truthfully, I didn’t even see the “career” potential when I first got started. I was a second generation, 12-year practicing attorney before finding LegalShield! However, I had begun having children and was already transitioning out of law when my friend, who was the librarian at the school where I was teaching criminal justice part time, took me to lunch and showed me the membership and business opportunity.

In 2010, one of my personal training clients at the University of Alabama, Roll Tide, introduced me to LegalShield! I immediately saw the value in the membership because I spent $1,600 on an attorney a year before to keep points off my record for a speeding ticket. In my head, I said man this makes so much sense, it can make dollars! I made more money my first month than I made at my job. And as they say, the rest is history.

After losing my job of nine years as a delivery driver, I learned that same week that I was a victim of identity theft. A friend shared Legal Shield with me, and when the lawyers cleared my good name, I knew the service worked. I became a believer and felt everyone needed this service, so I later became an associate. April was introduced to LegalShield just before the economic recession of 2009. After working her way up the corporate ladder in her 20s, she experienced multiple pay cuts and had to let employees go. She decided it was time for a change, and LegalShield was it.

Liz Foo-Lequeux had a great start in life making a good income selling health club memberships, but she felt that something was missing. “It was exhausting to work six days a week until 10 p.m.! If I wanted to travel or go on mission trips with my church, it was hard to take off,” she explains. That’s when she met a LegalShield associate who was retired at age 30 and living the lifestyle she always wanted. “He told me to read the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.

In January of 2002, I moved to Mobile, Alabama to work as a windshield repair technician at a car wash. I did very well in the windshield repair business, eventually hiring several technicians to work at several car washes in the area. Although I did well financially, I had no time freedom since I was working 70 to 80 hours a week. Then I ran into a friend from college who gave me a cassette tape about LegalShield. After listening to the cassette tape, I was blown away by the membership. I thought to myself, “Wow! I could have used this dozens of times in my life.”

I was a single parent working for the local phone company and before that in retail. I was living check to check and barely getting by. I knew I wanted something different and when one of my friends introduced me to this company, I figured I’d give it a shot. My goal was to earn an extra $500-$1000 a month. My challenge was as a single dad, I didn’t have a lot of time but I was taught a system back then, that we still teach today. That system helped me to match my 40-hour-a-week income with my 7-10 hours a week business! In less than 2 1/2 years, I surpassed a six-figure income from home! Because of this opportunity, I haven’t had to punch a clock in over 20 years!

For their honeymoon, Gerry and Sallie “bare-boat chartered” a beautiful sailing ketch in Greece and, by themselves, sailed to 17 incredible Greek islands.

We give all the honor and glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who is the head of our lives and the center of our joy. Before LegalShield came into our lives, I was a retired employee of Verizon with more than 28 years of service. I also serve as an associate pastor at a local church. It’s the church my wife and I have attended since we were children and where our passion and priority have been to love and serve the Lord and His people for the last 28 years.

Prior to LegalShield, I worked in various departments at BellSouth. My life was extremely busy as a mom, wife, and mature college student in addition to working 40 to 50 hours a week. In corporate, I had no time freedom, financial freedom, or flexibility.

Christine and Pat Manning have led unconventional lives, Christine a paralegal and private investigator by day and actress, dancer, director by night, and Pat a New York State Assemblyman, farmer, grant writer, consultant and food innovator, were certainly busy, but the lack of time freedom and consistent income led them to LegalShield.

I have been blessed with two loving parents who provided me with an abundance of personal growth and educational opportunities and nurtured my deep desire to help others along the way. As a result, education, mentorship, and the empowerment of others have always been passions of mine, so I knew fairly early on in my childhood what I wanted to do with the rest of my life.

In 1979, after 8 years in the Army, Bob and Susan met on a train in Barcelona, Spain. Susan was taking a sabbatical from working as a physical therapist, and they were both in Europe seeking adventure. After months of traveling, it was clear that we belonged together and now needed to find a way to create the excitement and lifestyle we desired. Introduced to network marketing soon after and to LegalShield in 2010, it became clear that this business model of helping others while creating residual income could give us everything we were looking for, if we rolled up our sleeves and got to work.

My LegalShield career began as a spare time endeavor that I saw as a vehicle that would allow me to stay at home and raise our two children. After teaching school for 10 years, I resigned from teaching when my husband and I started our own family. I wanted to be full time at home giving 100’% of my energy to my own little ones. Financially, it was a major challenge for us, and I had started reading books and listening to audios to learn about building wealth and saving, investing, and money in general.

I was working with one of the largest ministries in the country, traveling the world, and loving my life. The only problem was that I was flat broke at the end of every pay period. There was literally nothing left over. My plan was to figure out a way to make some extra money. One day, I found a magazine that spotlighted LegalShield’s membership and the incredible stories of ordinary people who were making extra money … many of them part time! I connected with Brian Carruthers who took me under his wing and taught me the ins and outs of the business.

My background is as a Financial Services Business Owner. I am proud mother of a strong woman who is also in business for herself. I became a single parent early on and I was able to lock arms with very successful individuals throughout my career. I decided early that if I wanted what they had, I would do what they did. No one I knew was looking for me and decided that I was ok but a stranger new different and exposed me to PPLSI.

After 20 years flying with the U.S. Air Force, Kevin retired as a Major. He immediately started another career with a Fortune 500 company in pharmaceuticals. Linda was working part time, so she could be home for their son, Keith, after school. They soon realized the large income Kevin was making in the corporate world came at too of high of a price. The incredible stress was severely impacting his health, and he rarely had quality time to spend with his family. They were anxious to find that balance, so they left the corporate world …

John and I met in March 2012 the old-fashioned way – on Match.com I was working in the skin-care field while John spent his afternoons and evenings as a print journalist writing for newspapers. Both of us were in search of a lifelong partner, someone who had our back. We knew within hours that we’d found something special. I came from an old Hollywood family. My dad was a high-level film executive. My mother was born and raised in Italy and was an actress there before emigrating to the US in 1944. John was born in the U.S. to American parents and they raised him in Brazil where he lived until he was 25 …

In 2007, I was a college student trying to figure out my life and figure out what I wanted to do. I come from a family of doctors and I realized that wasn’t a path for me. I have the utmost respect for them but I just couldn’t see myself being a doctor. So I started on this journey to find something that resonated with my heart and purpose. In March 2007, my parents called me and invited me to learn about this opportunity. I was extremely hesitant and skeptical but I went because it was my parents asking. When I saw that presentation on LegalShield, I immediately decided to come on board. It just made too much sense. I’m also the type where my mind went to “I have to do this. I love LegalShield because I love helping people. Prior to working in LegalShield, I owned several businesses and am well aware of what it takes to make payroll, pay rent and insurance, and satisfy the costs of goods and taxes before getting paid. Due to a catastrophic car accident in 1998, I lost my income and my home. Soon after I began working LegalShield full time, I went from renting and living paycheck to paycheck, to once again owning a home. At the age of 20, Kevin had been doing residential construction for seven years, working 40-50 hours per week at the time and going to college 15 credit hours per semester at night for an architecture degree. “I was miserable. I am a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran who spent 22 years in retail management. After ending that career, I registered to go back to college and prepare for another career. I started my LegalShield business part time while going to school. I have been fortunate to transition to full time in 2015. I was accustomed to working 50-60 hours a week and missing many family and social functions. I was often stressed and felt too busy to volunteer my time for other events. While I was generating a good salary and fortunate to have good benefits, I was living on a very average income.

Jonathan and Karleen are an international LegalShield couple. Jonathan was born in England and Karleen in Canada. They now live in the Pacific North West in Oregon. When I was first introduced to LegalShield in 2010, it was the residual income and time- freedom that attracted me. I’ve had many jobs in my life, but after my 1st daughter was born, I chose not to work full-time anymore. When I used the membership and it helped me save my home, I saw immediate value and became passionate about empowering others. Carlos has been a minister for over 30 years. In 2018 he was introduced to LegalShield and he was immediately drawn to the idea of earning residual income.
